For your mist diffusers:
It is important to clean your diffuser after each use. You should start by rinsing with room temperature water, then wiping the excess water with a soft cloth. It is possible that the ultrasonic vibration plate is gummed by essential oils. This is why it is important to clean it gently with a soft cloth so as not to damage it. It is this plate that allows diffusion thanks to its very rapid vibrations. If you want to deep clean your diffuser, add our cleaning solution or white vinegar to the water and let your diffuser run for a while. Afterwards, you can rince with water and wipe with a soft cloth before using the diffuser once more.
For your nebulisers:
It is important to know that the nebulizers need deep cleaning, because over time, using gummy essential oils, the glassware clogs inside.
In this case, we recommend soaking the glassware (the glassware inside) in a mixture of warm water and vinegar for 1 hour. Thereafter, diffuse a little bit of this mixture for about ten minutes to unblock everything.
If after 10 minutes the glassware is still blocked, gently place your finger on the glass rod inside the glassware.
In addition, we recommend cleaning the glassware every 5 uses or every week, to maintain the good conditioning of the nebulizer and to always keep it clean and functional. Frequently, you can clean it by spreading a background of alcohol or a water/vinegar mixture for about ten minutes.
For the stone diffusers:
We advise you to regularly clean the diffuser stones to keep them in good condition and functional.
After using the unit 5-6 times, or 2-3 days, or if you want to change the oil, clean as follows:
- Mix water with white vinegar and gently rub the plaster.
- Rinse well.
- Let dry and renew as needed.
If you do not use the diffuser stones for a long time, remember to clean them because essential oils may solidify and alter their operation.
Warranty: Le Comptoir Aroma’s diffusers are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase, only if the diffuser is correctly used by following the instructions provided in this manual. Otherwise, no warranty will be given. We ask you to read the ‘’Troubleshooting’’ section of your user manual before returning the product for exchange. If there is any problem during the warranty period, contact your retailer for the procedure and replacement methods.The original purchase receipt must be provided. The warranty does not cover breakage or defects related to improper use or improper maintenance of the diffuser.
